THE INSTRUMENT

Oftenit is more cost effective to replace a sensing head with one which is pre-calibrated at a testingstation, thus reducing disruption of the measuringsystem. Technovation offers suchan industry standard 4-20mA transmitterconsisting of an electrochemical sensor,its associated circuitry and in a Ex-Proof housing and Ex-proof Sensor head.

FEATURES

The two-wire transmitter with alocal display for measured parameter value allows the signal and power to besupplied on a single wire-pair by modulating the power supply current with theinput signal source. The transmitter is immune to voltage drops from long runsand noise from motors, relays, actuators,switches, transformers and industrialequipment.

APPLICATIONS

Every transmitter is suppliedpre-calibrated for a customer specific range. The table below gives anindication of the gases/ranges offered. These transmitters can be connected toa DC system which supplies the DC Power for the loop. They could also be connectedto stand alone controllers and PLCs and other data acquisitionsystems
